Chris Ellinas is the Region Solution Director for NCR Payment and Mobile solutions for Middle East and Africa, having the overall responsibility and managing the operations and sales initiatives for the whole Middle East and Africa region. He has been with NCR Payment Solutions for more than 15 years and has been heavily involved in the implementations of nationwide cheque truncation and ACH systems in Nigeria, Ghana, Libya, and Cyprus as well as in cheque processing systems with the major banks in the Middle East and Africa. He successfully managed to introduce new NCR technologies in many African countries helping
NCR becoming a leading technology provider of Payment and Mobile solutions in the region.Throughout his career in NCR he also had the overall responsibility for the implementation of Payment Solutions projects in different banks throughout the area. He has spent quite a lot of time traveling in different countries in the Middle East and Africa for implementing and managing projects as well as consulting banks on Payment Solutions and in particular on image-based cheque processing and electronic fund transfer systems.
He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University holding a BSc in Management Information Systems. He continued his studies at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University in New York, where he received his MBA specializing in Business Computer Information Systems.Chris is based at the NCR Middle East & Africa Area Head Office in Nicosia, Cyprus.
